Yesterday, Meizu announced via its Weibo page that it will be dropping a very important announcement this morning. Well, the firm has today released a poster scheduling a launch event for March 6 when it will unveil the Meizu Note 9. The image gives no clear indication of what we’ll see there, but not to worry, we already got a glimpse of what is expected, thanks to some teasers and the Meizu Note 9 TENAA listing.
The Note 9 Major strength is likely in the camera unit, and in line with the trend, the Meizu Note 9 will come fitted with a dual rear camera setup – comprising of a 48 MP, coupled with a 5 MP depth sensor, while a single 20 MP sensor will take charge of selfies and video calls. Indications are that Meizu might go for Samsung ISOCELL GM1 48 MP – the same sensor on the Redmi Note 7.
Gizchina News of the week
TENAA listing suggests the Meizu Note 9 will come with a 6.2-inch IPS LCD waterdrop notch display with 1080 x 2244 pixels Full HD+ resolution and an STBR similar to that of the Redmi Note 9, so the device will arrive as a perfect take on the Note 7 from Xiaomis Redmi, matching the device even with the same battery capacity – at 4000mAh, but we are not certain of the Note 9 will support any form of fast charging.
We should get to see the rest of the specs March 6, unless of course, we get more helpful leaks or teasers before the launch date.
