Redmi Note 7 Pro to cost about 1599 Yuan ($238)

Today, the vice president of Xiaomi Group and general manager of Redmi brand, Lu Weibing, announced that the Redmi Note 7 Pro will be released next week in China. Some netizens asked Lu Weibing how they would choose between the Xiaomi  Mi 9 and the Redmi Note 7 Pro. He gave a simple reply “Your budget will help you choose – 2000 Yuan ($298) or less will go for Redmi Note 7 Pro, 2000 Yuan ($298) or more will go for Xiaomi Mi 8 and 3000 Yuan ($446) or more will get Xiaomi Mi 9”

Redmi Note 7 Pro

Looking at general manager’s response, the Note 7 Pro is priced at less than 2,000 yuan ($298) and considering that the Redmi 7 has a 999 Yuan ($148) starting price, it is most likely that the Note 7 Pro’s starting price will be as low as 1599 Yuan ($238).

Gizchina News of the week

Recently, Redmi India official Twitter handle released a poster of the Redmi Note 7 Pro, which not only disclosed the official launch date but also shows some features hidden. From the poster, the Redmi Note 7 Pro will be officially announced on February 28 (same date the Redmi Note 7 will arrive India), and perhaps that is what is been referenced once again. From previous speculations, this smartphone will use a water-drop notch, dual rear camera, and a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 camera sensor. In addition, this smartphone is tipped to come with a Snapdragon 675 SoC, Adreno 612 GPU, an on-screen fingerprint sensor and perhaps a 6GB/128GB option.

Five days ago when I made my $238 prediction, you thought I just looked at my “crystal ball” and made the prediction. The device has been launched, check-out the price.

“it is most likely that the Note 7 Pro’s starting price will be as low as 1599 Yuan ($238)” This is what you wrote, key word starting but it starts at $197, so what are you proud of again???????

Thats why its called a “prediction” bro. Thats why you have the phrase “most likely”. These show that its a prediction and it is not expected to be EXACT but close. We speculated with the available prices and we were within range…thats a good thing and thats what im proud of.

      Thanks bro

For you it’s a game but for me it’s not a game. Its providing viable information for people to make plans on and as far as I know, I did just that.

      Thanks
