It appears the Chinese smartphone maker Vivo may soon put a couple of its mid-range smartphones on shelves. While the VIVO X27 is expected to launch on Tmall soon, a new VIVO phone with the V1818EA and V1818ET model numbers has cleared TENAA. Both devices spot virtually the similar specs and features, and so may launch as variants of the same device.
Gizchina News of the week
We do not know the name though, but TENAA listing suggests it could be a budget-friendly Vivo phone. With dimensions, 155.11 x 75.09 x 8.28mm and weight of 163.5 grams, the device is set to launch with an impressive STBR, a large 6.2-inch HD+ display with water-drop notch that carries support for HD+ resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels and under its hood, it is likely to come with an unnamed 2.0 GHz octa-core processor and 3 GB of RAM.
On the flip side, the VIVO V1818EA/V1818ET houses a single 13-megapixel, with no fingerprint scanner in sight, fueling speculations that it might use Face unlock since the under-display option isn’t plausible. The device will be powered by a large 3930mAh, while it will run Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
No official launch date yet, however, we suspect the device might see a low-key launch rather than an elaborate one.
