Yup! you read that rightly. Samsung could be prepping a new addition to its mid-range Galaxy A series for imminent launch. Earlier today, we got reports of a Galaxy A90 that could arrive with a sliding and rotating camera, and now a new member of the series has popped up suggesting it could launch soon.
While the Galaxy A50, A30, and A10 launched earlier today has so far remained in India, a support page for a device named the Galaxy A40 has popped up on Samsung Germany website suggesting an imminent launch in that country.
Gizchina News of the week
Bearing the model number SM-A405FN/DS, the Galaxy A40 when launched is expected to fit in between the A30 and A50 going by Samsungs hierarchy.
Sadly the support page contains little or no info, however, a previous Geekbench listing of the device suggests it could come with Exynos 7885, 4GB RAM, Android 9 – while info regarding its display size, nor about the cameras, fingerprint sensor or battery is sparse.
Notably, the support page is an indication that the Galaxy A40 could launch later in Europe alongside a few other members of the mid-range series.
