About a week after Samsung kicked the Android Pie beta program for the Galaxy A7 (2018) in India, the South-Korean company is starting one for the Galaxy A6 on its homeland.
You can enroll in the beta program through Samsung’s Members App to get Android Pie with Samsung’s One UI running atop. Of course, users will be able to get a taste of Pie hottest features, such as Digital Wellbeing, Adaptive Battery, Gesture Navigation, More notification controls and etc.
Gizchina News of the week
If you’re unaware of what One UI represents, it’s a complete overhaul in Samsung’s software interface. Gone are the fancy features and all the bloatware from the old TouchWiz. Samsung started to remove all the unused features of its software with Samsung Experience firmware, but now with One UI, the company goes one step beyond turning its skin into a clean and plain software experience.
Since this is a beta build only advanced users are advised to try the new software, after all, it could easily compromise the average Joe’s experience with a crash or bug in the middle of a working day. The company should kick more beta releases for Galaxy A6 gradually until the software gets mature enough for a stable release.
