On February 28th, Xiaomi crowdfunding launched a new product – a new smart dehumidifier which is suitable for 5 – 40 m2, has an18L large dehumidification, fast dehumidification, 38-decibel bass operation, and intelligent control all for only 799 yuan ($120). This product is a third-party product and it is only crowdfunded by Xiaomi
According to the crowdfunding notes, the new smart dehumidifier can absorb up to 18L of water per day from the air which is equivalent to 72 bottles of 250 ml of fluid. It has a fast super dehumidification capability, and when it is turned on for 1 hour, it can reduce the humidity of a 18m2 room significantly.

The smart dehumidifier utilizes the principle of cooling and heating to achieve better dehumidification. It keeps the room temperature before and after dehumidification at ±2 °C, which is more comfortable than air conditioning dehumidification. It is also equipped with different modes which include continuous dehumidification mode, dry clothes function, specific humidity (40%, 50%, 60%) optional mode etc.
These are all available to meet a variety of home environment needs. It has a built-in silver ion antibacterial filter and the silver ion material adsorbs bacteria and destroys the conducive environment for bacterias.
