At a launch event in India last week, Chinese smartphones maker VIVO had launched the VIVO V15 Pro in the country without announcing the non-pro variant. Now, the company has announced the V15 Pro alongside the vanilla VIVO V15 in Thailand. The VIVO V15 as one would expect is a trimmed variant of the Pro V15, with the most obvious differences the absence and or presence of a rear fingerprint sensor.
Apart from ditching the in-display fingerprint scanner for a capacitive rear scanner, the VIVO V15 gets a slightly larger display, a larger battery as well as a slightly under-powered Helio P70 SoC. Notably, the device retains the 32MP pop-up selfie camera as well as the 12MP + 8MP + 5MP AI triple-camera setup as the Pro variant.
