Among the innovations introduced by Samsung on the Galaxy S10 series we also find a feature that concerns the AR Emojis.

The new flagship models of the Korean manufacturer are able to reflect the movements of the user’s body in real time through its digital avatar.

This is possible thanks to the Digital Avatar solution of DeepMotion, which uses the smartphone camera to capture the movements in real time, providing a result without doubt out of the ordinary.

Here is a practical demonstration of the potential of this system:

DeepMotion is led by experts from companies such as Disney, Pixar, Ubisoft and Microsoft and its solution is made possible thanks to the use of AI technology and the theory of robotic control.

In essence, AR Emojis on the Samsung Galaxy S10 represents a marked improvement over what was seen until last year (the system was limited to facial expressions and simple movements of the head).

Users will be able to capture body movement using the rear camera or the movement of the top only with the front camera. This means that the user can create an emoji of himself while dancing his favorite song.
