Leaks about Huawei’s next flagship phones – the P30 family have been filtering in for quite a while now, but it wasn’t until recently the company’s VP of global product marketing revealed the P30 Pro will highlight a periscope-style “superzoom” camera that will supposedly achieve up to 10x zoom. Today, the company has released some new teaser posters that highlight the power of the Periscopic zoom when put in to use.
While we can not ascertain whether or not these image teasers are products of Huawei’s new periscope zoom camera of the Huawei P30, a couple of them looks like a product of mobile shooting, while some others appear suspicious if you take a close look or focus on specific details.
Gizchina News of the week
In addition to the new periscope system, the Huawei P30 will also feature an enhanced low-light shooting mode which is not only supported by software but backed by hardware too. Early leaks and renders suggest the P30 Pro will pack a total of four cameras and three on the vanilla P30 – the extra one likely being a ToF sensor. Both devices are expected to feature Huawei’s Kirin 980 chipset, perhaps with the company’s Balong 5000 5G modem. We are not sure what the battery size is, but hopefully, both models will feature 40W fast charging.
We’ll find out all there is to know about the Huawei P30 PRO, P30 as well as the P30 lite on March 26 at the launch event in Paris, though the Huawei P30 Lite is expected to launch in China before the global launch as the Huawei Nova 4E in China.
