Google Pixel 3/3 XL users report microphone issues


Since the release of the Pixel 3 series, these smartphones have been highly appreciated for Google camera but the hardware and software bug issues has been a bit controversial. Recently, the problems with the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL microphones have caused some stir amongst users. In the Google Product Forum, some consumers said that there is a problem with the microphone of the Google Pixel 3 phone, which can lead to an uncomfortable listening experience during the call, and this problem has been going on for several months.

Judging from the related posts on the Google Forum, this issue can be traced back to November last year but it has received more attention since February this year. According to complaints, when a user makes a call using a Pixel 3 series mobile phone there is often the issue of little sound, unstable sound or echo which makes hearing quite difficult.

Both the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL experiences this problem. From the feedback of netizens, some users have encountered microphone problems constantly while others reported that the problem is intermittent. However, some users have not experienced this problem at all.

    Same problem with the Mi 8. Have to make sure you got an earphone in crowded and noisy places.
