The Huawei P30 family arrives later on March 2019 at a launch event in Paris. The device comprising of the Huawei P30, p30 Pro and the P30 lite have been subjects of leaks and rumors in recent times, and as expected, Huawei has been on a hype game for the upcoming series. In drumming support for the devices, the Chinese company a few days uploaded some teaser/promotional posters to its official Weibo account (China’s equivalent of Facebook)  giving us the impression the P30 Pro will end up a the ultimate camera phone given the fine details of the samples pictures.

Now, just a few hours since it was caught in the act updated with the said image with disclaimers, while also saying it never knew the media will misconstrue the said images. AndroidAuthority reached out to the Chinese firm, and in a statement to the tech site said “We would like to reiterate that those are, in fact, only teaser posters, and are only intended to hint at the unique new features that will come with the Huawei P30 series,”  The company says  “it has acquired the licenses to the original images and the posters are artistic renditions of said features only. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank the media for their interest in our posters.”

Lastly, Huawei said it had “much to announce” in the coming weeks,  perhaps at the P30 launch event taking place in Paris, France on March 26. This isn’t the first time Huawei is embroiled in this kind of shady activity, and while it boasts of some of the best crops of Android smartphones in terms of camera quality, one would expect the company to do all its marketing campaign using shoots from its arrays of mobile devices.

That said, the upcoming Huawei P30 Pro could end up as one of this year’s best camera phones, as it is tipped to come loaded with some insane camera features, including four cameras, a periscope-style selfie lens, and 7x zoom (wowser). You can keep yourself abreast of the P30 family leaks ahead of the official launch.
