Like its rivals from within and outside China, OPPO is gearing up for the launch of its first SD 855 powered smartphone – dubbed the OPPO Reno. It appears, however, that the Reno isn’t the only OPPO phone in the making, as a report from earlier this week suggested we could be seeing a budget OPPO A5S soon, and now, reports reaching us says a new entry-level OPPO A1K could be arriving soon too.

Tipped to arrive in  Red and Black colors, Mysmartprice claims in an exclusive report that the OPPO A1K will arrive parading a simplistic design with a waterdrop notch display, and a single rear camera. The device will come in at 154.4 x 77.4 x 8.4mm and weigh 165 grams which suggest we could be dealing with a device with as large as 6.0-inch or slightly larger display.

On the flipside, the OPPO A1K is tipped to come fitted with a single camera, and like you can see, there is no mention of a fingerprint sensor, and given that the OPPO A1 had no fingerprint sensor, we presume the rumored A1K has no form of biometrics, or it could rely on a Face Unlock feature. It is expected to come with a 4,000 mAh battery, while it will be powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB RAM of storage.

We are not certain when the device will debut, but given the pace at which OPPO phones are flying around the rumor mill, it might not be long before we see these devices officially announced silently or launched is some key markets.
