South Korean manufacturing giant, Samsung, has been quite busy with software updates for its mid-range smartphones. Over the past week, the Galaxy A8 and A8+ (2018), and Galaxy A9 (2018) have all received the Android 9 Pie update. Now, it is the turn of the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018). This smartphone is currently getting the Android 9 Pie update.

This update which comes with version number A750FNPUU1BSC4 was spotted in Russia and it is not a global release. We can only keep our fingers crossed while we wait for the global version. If you stay in Russia and you use this device, you may want to check for the update. However, this update comes with the February security patch as well as One UI. Looking at Samsung’s Android 9 Pie release schedule, the A7, A8, A8+, and A9 (2018) will get this update in April.
With the current competition in the smartphone market, vendors are increasingly more careful with their devices. Regular software updates is a good way of capturing the heart of smartphone users. There are a couple of Chinese manufacturers with cheaper smartphones. Samsung mid-range phones need these regular updates.
