However, in response to feedback from more users, Samsung has indicated that it is optimizing the ultrasonic fingerprint experience of the Galaxy S10 series. Samsung officially said that it has received reports of fingerprint scanners malfunction in some areas. This malfunction is usually environmental or skin related. The dampness of environment, dryness of skin and scratches on fingerprint can cause these malfunction.

To this end, the company is optimizing the sensor and the update will probably arrive next week. The company assured users that it will continue to optimize the system until consumers get satisfaction. The company also said that face recognition is another way to unlock the phone. Though this solution is not as secure as the fingerprint scanner. In addition, Samsung cautions users that if they want their Galaxy S10 to be more secure, they can choose to enable an ultrasound fingerprint scanner that has been certified by the Online Rapid Authentication Alliance (FIDO), the world’s first biometric component certification. This certification recognizes its safety and the industry’s best biometric devices.
