The good news is that in addition to the Black Shark 2 gaming phone, Meizu phones may also adopt DC dimming. Today, Meizu technology engineer, Hong Hansheng, revealed that Meizu mobile phones will also use this feature, and updates may be released for models that can support it. In recent times, Meizu’s high-end models comes with OLED screens. These include Meizu 16th, Meizu 16th Plus, Meizu 15, Meizu 15 Plus, and Meizu 16X. According to the latest report, these smartphones will likely support the DC dimming feature in the future.

It is reported that the DC dimming principle is to change the screen brightness by increasing or decreasing the circuit power. Power = voltage x current, so changing the voltage or current can change the screen brightness.
