Chinese smartphone maker OPPO is preparing for the launch of a new high-end smartphone dubbed the OPPO Reno, but as far as rumor goes, the brand has more device up its sleeve that could be debuting soon. In fact, recent evidence reveals that two variants of the brand’s upcoming phone with the CPH1919 and CPH1921 model numbers have already been certified by Bluetooth SIG. Both devices as revealed by the SIG are identical, except that the variant with the CPH1919 model number supports 4G LTE networks only while the CPH1921 carries support for 5G connectivity.
Although the real identities of this duo have yet to be confirmed, rumor spinners suggest both could be variant of the upcoming OPPO Reno that is billed to drop soon. Prevailing rumors suggest the Reno could come with a Snapdragon 855 chipset with several memory options – 8GB, 10GB, and 256GB – all with 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage, while a more recent murmur suggest the brand could also launch a 5G variant of the Reno which will add a Snapdragon X50 modem into the mix with 12/256GB.

Both devices as per the SIG will flaunt a 6.65-inch display with unknown resolution, while both will equally house Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 855 chipset clocked at up to 2.8 GHz with an Adreno 640 GPU under the hood. The listing also tells us will both devices will come fitted with a tr-camera rear setup consisting of a 48MP + 8MP + 13MP, perhaps with the company’s 10x optical zoom technology and several AI-backed features to further improve the camera experience, while it will get a 16MP selfie camera on the front. Of course, it also mentions support for Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy as well as Android Pie with ColorOS 6 based on Android Pie.
