It’s only been a couple of months since Xiaomi unveiled the Mi Mix 3 and its 5G variant to the admiration of the World, but that isn’t stopping the Chinese tech firm, as indications have now emerged that a new model from the series might already be in the works. Yes, we are talking of either the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 or an iterative upgrade to the Mi Mix 3, perhaps the Mi Mix 3s.
Xiaomi has outed a teaser on Weibo that suggests a new model of the Mi Mix series is on the horizon, although no specific reference to the Mi Mix 3s or the Mix 4. The teaser seen below showcases the three generation of the Mi Mix series side by side alongside a dummy image of an unnamed model which we assume could be the Mi Mix 4 or the Mi Mix 3s. The Mi Mix series is usually the most stunning of the Xiaomi phones lineup – featuring virtually bezel-free designs with the latest of the series adopting a slider design solution.
Gizchina News of the week
There are a lot of questions here, and it might be a while before we get proper details regarding the next member of the Mi Mix series. First off, will the Mi Mix 4 or the Mi Mix 3s or whatever the maker decides to name it retain the slider design or will it opt for the punch hole design as in the Galaxy S10, the Nova 4, and the upcoming Galaxy A60? And is the device launching sooner? given that the Mi Mix 3 5G variant just arrived about three months ago?
These and more are questions begging for answers, but we will sure get more details, perhaps from official sources in due course.
For me, pop-up camera or dual screen.
