Today, Xiaomi held its 9th Anniversary Mi Fan Festival. To spice up this event, the company released a plethora of products. As teased earlier, Xiaomi announced 20 “new” products in China today. Wang Chuan, the co-founder of Xiaomi Group and the president of Xiaomi China, unveiled the new products with their prices. Of course, as expected, its April 1st which is also known as “April Fools Day” thus not all of the 20 “new” products are exactly NEW. Amongst the products, the Xiaomi Mijia smart running shoes with automatic laces, Xiaomi Mijia multifunctional electric cooking pot, Xiaomi Mijia cooking machine, Xiaomi Mijia giant gel pen and Xiaomi 1 rocket are new products specially launched for April’s Fool’s day. In addition, Xiaomi also launched the “Xiaomi Takes You to Space” Mi program. We don’t exactly know what this means for now but the company said: “Please pay attention to our live broadcast in the next 9 days”.
