Huawei has launched the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro in Malaysia, making it one of the first few markets to get the flagship devices from Huawei. The duo is immediately available for pre-order until April 6th, after which actual sales will commence.
Huawei will be selling the P30 in 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage, while the premium P30 Pro is available in 8GB RAM with 256GB and 512GB storage options. For the early 700 adopters, Huawei has announced that it will be offering a car charger and a pair of Bluetooth earphones with every pre-orders of the duo, as well as a Wireless Charging Case with the P30 and a Snorkeling Case with the P30 Pro.
Additionally, Huawei is offering buyers of the P30 and P30 Pro an extended 6 months warranty, which in essence means you are entitled to 18 months of warranty up from the initial 12 months warranty period. To redeem the warranty extension, you’ll need to activate it via the HiCare app by May 5, 2019.
Outside its online store, you can also get the P30 and P30 pro offline at Huawei Experience Stores in Kuala Lumpur (Pavilion/MidValley), 1st Avenue Penang, Aman Central Kedah, AEON Kinta City, AEON Bukit Indah, Mahkota Parade Melaka, The Spring Mall Kuching, Imago Shopping Mall KK, as well as selected senQ, Digi Store, Harvey Norman, and Courts outlet.

The Huawei P30 only variant will be priced at RM2,699 ($661), the P30 Pro with 8GB RAM+256GB storage at RM3,799 ($931), while the Huawei P30 Pro with 512GB storage will sell for as much as RM4,399 ($1,078). The base HuaweiP30 is available in the country in three color options – Breathing Crystal, Aurora, and Black, while the top of the line 8GB RAM + 512GB storage P30 Pro variant is available in Aurora. The devices will also be available on contract via Celcom, Digi, and Maxis.
The HuaweiP30 and P30 Pro are both Huawei flagship for the first half of the year, and while both devices are positioned as contenders to the Galaxy S10, the star of the show is the P30 Pro with its new Quad camera setup, which is technically 3 cameras with a Time of Flight (ToF) camera.
