Notwithstanding previous leaks and rumors, retailer pages listing and official website listings, Huawei has today officially announced the third member of the P30 lineup dubbed the Huawei P30 Lite. Announced earlier this morning via a press release, official details of the device lineup with all the leaks and rumors about the device leading up to this day.
As expected, the P30 Lite ditches a couple of the several that makes the P30 and P30 Pro stand out but manages to a pleasing design with a versatile triple camera set up all at a budget price.
Much like the P30 and P30 Pro, ‘t’he Huawei P30 Lite has a teardrop notch and a colorful back, and that appears to be the only noteworthy similarities. The internal makeup has been slightly altered so as to perfectly fit into your budget. The device parades a slim and light profile with curved 3D glass on the back that makes it sit more comfortably in your hands, notwithstanding the glossy finishing. There at the back, there is a fingerprint scanner, a triple camera setup namely: a 24MP f/1.8 main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor for bokeh effects and a 8MP f/2.4 ultra-wide sensor which allows you to cram in more scenery. And much like the P30, the budget P30 Lite features a 32-megapixel selfie camera in the tiny dewdrop notch around the front.
