Shenzhen-based Chinese smartphone manufacturer and a new offshoot of OPPO could be releasing a new smartphone soon if the latest hint from the company is any indication. The company has released a brief teaser that suggests it could soon launch a new phone under the Realme U series.
The brief teaser doesn’t say much, but we are more convinced the firm is teasing the launch of a smartphone with more storage space, as suggested by the “Bringing U more,” at the end. “Why lose out on what you love due to less space?nbsp; as well as Stay tuned for more. #MoreForU, hashtag is another clear indication that the launch might not be an entirely fresh phone, but an existing one with more storage space for your media needs. There are indications the teaser is for an OPPO U1 with more storage space, perhaps 128GB, and maybe with more RAM.
Gizchina News of the week
The brand has recently permanently dropped the Realme U1 prices in the India market which see the Realme U1 with 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage option dropping down to Rs. 9,999, while its 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant dropped to Rs. 11,999. Price cuts usually precedes the launch of a new phone, so we are not a bit surprised the company is now teasing the arrival of a new device.
For now, we can only guess and speculate but we’ll know more when the device is unveiled/released.
