The OnePlus 6T arrived in the latter part of 2018, and much previous OnePlus T models, it retains most of what made its predecessor great while adding a couple of new features and slightly increasing its price. The device is a testament that once again proved that cutting-edge technology need not cost up to $1,000.
OnePlus has developed a habit of slashing down prices of its products months after its initial launch, perhaps to woo more buyers into the hood. It was just yesterday when it was reported that the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition has gone on sale once again on Amazon India in limited quantities, and now, Oneplus has announced a 400 Yuan (~$60) price cut for the entire variants of the OnePlus 6T in China.

We are not sure what prompted the price cut, though there are speculations it is in a bid to prepare the stores for the rumored OnePlus 7 which could be arriving in a couple of months.
As a result of the price cut, the OnePlus 6T 6GB+128GB variant is available at 2,299 Yuan (~$342) down from 3,399 Yuan (~$506), and the8GB+128GB now priced at 3,199 Yuan (~$476) down from is initial 3,599 Yuan (~$538), while the variant with 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage is now priced at 3,599 Yuan (~$538) from 3,999 Yuan (~$595).
The OnePlus 6T is Oneplus 2018 iterative upgrade of the OnePlus 6. It has an all-screen design and a large 6.41in FHD+ OLED display, but this time drops the large notch at the top for the water drop type of notch, while cutting down on the bottom bezels and also incorporating the fingerprint scanner directly into the screen. It gets the same top of the line Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, with options to choose either in 6 or 8GB of RAM, and a minimum of 128GB of storage up from just 64GB, dual-sim support and the latest version of Android 9 Pie.
