The merger means the brand ceases to release more Galaxy J branded phones in favor of the new Galaxy A series with the double-digit naming convention. Well, it appears that isn’t the end of the road for the J series, as the Korean giant has just seeded a software update to the Galaxy J8 released sometime in 2018.
