OPPO officially announced a new logo


Today, Chinese manufacturer, Oppo, held a new product launch where it officially unveiled the Oppo Reno series. Shen Yi, vice president of OPPO, gave a keynote speech where he said that from the smiley design on the back of Oppo’s first mobile phone down to its latest flagship, Oppo Find X, the company started from zero users to 250 million users in more than 40 countries and regions in the world all within 10 years. “Today, everyone is welcome to join us to witness the new beginning of the second decade of OPPO mobile phone: a new stage of enterprise development, a brand logo, and a new product line Reno” he added.

In addition, OPPO also customized a set of OPPO Sans brand fonts – OPPO Sans, which does a lot of pixel-level optimization. Shen Yiren also revealed that in 2019, OPPO will invest more than 10 billion yuan ($1.48 billion) in research and development around 5 major technology channels. It will improve its research on 5G, AI, imaging, cloud, and new build materials.

He said that 2019 is the first year of 5G commercialization, and the 5G+ era will spawn more new hardware. OPPO has established a mobile terminal business unit, and the company promises to bring more surprises. Soon, we will see oppo’s smartwatches, smart headphones and IoT products.
