The Huawei P30 and P30 Pro are both now official and are making waves in various markets. The devices following their initial launch in Paris back in March arrived China earlier this week where they became available for a brief flash sale earlier today on Vmall with overwhelming demand.

Official information released by the company says it raked in CNY200 million in revenue from the flash sale which ended in 10 seconds, and while there’s no word on how many units were sold during the flash sale, our estimate puts that anywhere between 30,000 and 50,000 units, depending on the model and memory configuration.

Gizchina News of the week

Outside of Vmall, information released by retailer Tmall also suggests the P30 is winning on every side. It revealed that over 3.2 million people have searched the P30 series since its first debut back in March, with more than half of the number been females.
