This is not a music player, Its the Xiaomi Air pump!

This device look suspiciously like a music player or a Walkie-Talkie. A little display, an antenna like protrusion and a side grill that resembles a speaker.but nope. The Recently launched Xiaomi air pump seems interesting. Lets look at what it packs in its musical body.

For 199RMB (30$) you get a digital display, a button interface and a LED light to use in the dark. The device is run by two internal rechargeable batteries (2000mAh total). It comes in a full metal construction and has a 120mm durable air hose.  The device can ideally be used by anyone (with or without knowledge about tyre pressure) as it has built-in pressure sensor and can automate the pump process.

With the device you also get two sized pins, Micro USB charging cable and a carrying pouch. So its safe to assume it has an adapter to make it multi functional. It can be used on Footballs, Bicycles, Cars etc. Official specs claim that on a single charge it can fully inflate 5 car tires. Or 8 bicycle tires or 7 footballs.  It can operate at a pressure range of 3 psi to 150 psi or 0.2 to 10.3 bar. It can also automatically stop if it detects that exceeded pressure settings in the mode chosen by the user.

It’s a portable device at 124x71x45.3mm. The loop of the air hose is also designed to be hooked onto a bag or a handle. This increases portability and reduces the hassle of carrying it by hand or in a bag. the Motor used in the Xiaomi Air Pump has no official details but is said to be endurance tested and can resist heat up on continuous usage.

    Looks small enough to be carried constantly. I like it, now the price needs to be below 30€ for me to buy it.
