Huawei Mate 20X 5G, the version equipped with support for 5G networks and the largest model of the Mate 20 family, has just been appeared in a hands-on video that also summarizes the main technical specifications of the device.
Officially announced in October last year alongside the already marketed and appreciated Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Porsche Design Mate 20 RS and Mate 20X, the 5G variant of the latter should finally make its market debut in the second half of 2019. In any case, even before the arrival of any more detailed official communication from Huawei, there have already been some online leaks, which have revealed some details of Mate 20 X 5G, including its probable sales package.
Now the smartphone has been shown in all its elegance in a hands-on video, which highlights the design and the main technical features. In the video in question, shot by Zing Gadget, Huawei Mate 20 X 5G is shown next to the already known Mate 20 Pro. From an aesthetic point of view, the 5G model does not differ from the Mate 20 X 4G, the only detail that distinguishes them is the 5G logo on the back.
Gizchina News of the week
As for the technical characteristics, the Mate 20X 5G is equipped with a 4,200 mAh battery, smaller than the 5,000 mAh battery of the 4G version, with support for fast charging Super Charge at 40W. For the rest, the SoC remains the same Kirin 980 at 7nm accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory. The device is equipped with a 5G Balong 5000 modem, the same one we have already seen on board the Huawei Mate X foldable smartphone.
In the video, unfortunately, no further details are reported regarding the price and the date of arrival on the market of the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G, which in any case should cost a little more than the 4G variant and be available in the second half of the year.
