Google Photos adds support for foldable smartphones

Although the Samsung Galaxy Fold has had a difficult start, foldable smartphones have come here to stay and Google does not want to miss the opportunity to have all its applications compatible with these devices.

Google Photos is one of the first applications developed by the search giant that is receiving support for folding smartphones.

It is an interesting addition taking into account that the first foldable smartphone in the world, Samsung Galaxy Fold, will make its debut in the market on April 26.

The improvements include the continuity of the screen, that is, continue to see a photo or a video when the phone is unfolded.

That is not the only change added in the latest update of Google Photos. The iOS version of the application has been updated with an indicator that will allow users to see at first glance which of their videos and photos have not yet been backed up to the cloud.

The new view of the gallery will help users to choose the elements that will be backed up.
