Today, Chinese manufacturing giant, Huawei, announced that the Honor Play 8C Mirage Blue version is now available for sale on Huawei Mall for 899 Yuan ($134). This version comes with a gradient design which gives it a premium appearance. It uses the mirror technology coupled with a nano-level glare to achieve a natural gradient from blue to purple.

The Honor Play 8C has a high price to performance ratio considering the specs of this device. Looking at the hardware, this device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It uses a 6.26-inch display and its lights are kept on by a 4000 mAh battery. This is the first smartphone in the Honor Play series to sport up to 4000 mAh battery. With the Honor Play 8C, users can have up to 12 hours of online video time, 11 hours of gaming time and 50 hours of music/continuous talk time. In the camera department, this device comes with a 13MP+2MP dual rear AI double camera with a F/1.8 aperture and support AI scene recognition. For selfies, it has an 8MP camera which supports AI beauty and AI face unlock.
