ALLDOCUBE

The major Global Sources Mobile Electronics Show has just concluded in Hong Kong and we had the chance to see quite some new interesting models from plethora of brands. Of course the fabled ALLDOCUBE tablet/laptop makers made an impression too with their new pieces and certainly cemented their position as one of the leading companies in this segment. Aside the already released ALLDOCUBE X Android tablet with Super AMOLED screen majority of the new products belong to the laptop/convertible category with Windows system.

First and foremost there will be a new big brand line with laptops/2-in-1 convertibles based on the Intel Core i3 platforms with 4GB/8GB RAM, 64GB/128GB of storage and 13,3/14/15.6-inch screens, but some of them will also get the AMD CPU as an option. In addition to that there is one 13.5-inch laptop equipped with Intel Core M3-7Y30 Kaby Lake processor, 3000×2000 pixel resolution, 4GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB storage. .

Next they will have a new 11,6-inch or 14-inch laptop line built upon the Intel Gemini Lake N4000-N5000 platforms with 4GB/8GB RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB storage options. Those will be as an addition to the existing KNote 5 model with Gemini Lake too, but they are planning more models with N5000 coming soon.

Last, but not least they managed to show us the Windows on ARM PC model in the form of 14-inch laptop equipped with the Snapdragon 850 processor, 4GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. So far there are not many models using the latest Qualcomm’s chipset, with the exceptions being Lenovo Yoga C630 or Samsung Galaxy Book2. The Windows on ARM design should bring some advantages like better battery life, always-on and always-connected status so looking forward to that.
