Huawei P30 Lite hit the shelves in India

The Indian smartphone market is the second largest in the world behind only China. Just like the Chinese market, there is a growing competition in the Indian market. Although Chinese manufacturer, Xiaomi, has a strong grip of this market, there is still room for other manufacturers to make their mark. Some weeks ago, Chinese manufacturing giant, Huawei, announced the low variant of its flagship Huawei P30 series in India. Today, the Huawei P30 Lite officially hit the shelves in India and potential buyers can now have this smartphone.

As of now, the two variants of this smartphone are available for purchase. The 4GB+128GB model is selling for INR19,990 ($286) while the 6GB+128GB model comes with a INR22,990 ($328) price tag. Both smartphones are available on Amazon.in.

The device parades a slim and light profile with curved 3D glass on the back that makes it sit more comfortably in your hands, notwithstanding the glossy finishing. It has a rear fingerprint scanner, a triple camera setup which includes: a 24MP f/1.8 main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor for bokeh effects and an 8MP f/2.4 ultra-wide sensor which allows you to cram in more scenery. And much like the P30, the budget P30 Lite features a 32-megapixel selfie camera in the tiny waterdrop notch. The Huawei P30 Lite comes with a 6.15-inch full HD+ (2,321 x 1,080) display. It is powered by the mid-range  Kirin 710 chipset and has a 3,340mAh battery that supports 18W charging and USB-C connectivity. It runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box and is available in Midnight Black and Peacock Blue colours.
