ZTE sub-brand Nubia will be holding a launch event in China come April 28 where it will unveil the Nubia Red Magic 3, and while we have previously seen a number of leaks and teasers relating to the device, the device has just popped up on the Geekbench listing revealing some of its internals.
Listed with the model number Nubia NX629J, the Geekbench listing confirms the Nubia Red Magic 3 will come with Snapdragon 855 SoC and 8 GB RAM, and while that isn’t new to us, the device scored 3,513 and 11,309 points in Geekbench’s single and multi-core tests respectively, and that puts it a bit below the Black Shark 2 with same SoC and higher RAM with 3,516 and 11,413 points in Geekbench’s single and multi-core tests respectively. The Nubia Red Magic 3 is expected to come with a hybrid cooling solution, so we are optimistic that could do the magic when it finally launches.

Similarly, the Magic 3 (12GB) also showed up on on the Master Lu benchmark with an impressive 472,947 points in the benchmark which is a bit above the 470,574 points recorded by the 8GB variant on the same Benchmark.
The brand hasn’t categorically revealed the specs list of the upcoming device, however, we do know that it will feature a high 90 Hz display refresh rate and active cooling system. Leaked renders suggest the design will be very much similar to previous Red Magic.
