Black Shark 2 withstands JerryRigEverything’s endurance tests

Xiaomi Black Shark 5G

The new Black Shark 2 gaming smartphone from Xiaomi has debuted about a month ago and compared to its predecessor it comes with renewed specifications and a slightly different design. But what about resistance? How did the Black Shark 2 behave in the hands of a true professional of destruction?

The flagship passed through the hands of the JerryRigEverything team, for the usual – and brutal – ritual resistance test. Will it be the winner? For all the answers, all that remains is to watch the video below.

Gizchina News of the week

The Black Shark 2 behaves very well in the scratch test, aligning itself with the rest of the competitors; the scratches arrive around the 6/7 grade of the Mohs scale, quite normal for the protective glass on smartphones.

The weak point is characterized by the aluminum body, which could be subject to scratches if your trusty device is in contact with keys or other “dangerous” objects. Obviously, the video endurance tests are borderline cases, but not to be underestimated.

The fingerprint reader under the display is able to work even in the presence of scratches and the bending test succeeds without damage for the new Black Shark.
