At today’s China Telecom 5G Innovation Cooperation Conference, Xu Zhijun, vice chairman of Huawei, said in his speech that there are two major needs in the Chinese market in the 5G era: eMBB (enhanced mobile broadband) and industry digitalization. He believes that 5G will increase the production efficiency of smart medical and smart industries by 10 times. “I recently participated in the Shanghai Auto Show. I heard a lot of people talking about 5G. We have done 5G for more than ten years. I still don’t know what 5G is after…” Xu Zhijun joked.
