The Xiaomi Mi Mural TV was officially launched at a press conference on April 23. The whole body of this TV is 13.9 mm and it comes with a flat design that makes it to perfectly fit the wall. The latest news from Xiaomi TV’s official Weibo page shows that the Xiaomi Mi Mural TV will be sold at 10:00 am on April 28. This TV has a 6999 yuan (∼$1100) price tag which includes installation cost. It’s amazing how the Xiaomi Mi Mural TV is only 13.9 mm thin (what about the motherboard and speakers?). The Mural uses a split design such that the speakers, motherboard and power button are integrated into a lower host which looks like a soundbar. This design gives the TV a completely flat appearance.
It is reported that Xiaomi Mi Mural TV uses Samsung’s 65-inch 4K panel and its aluminum side frame comes with a touch of blue. The host and the screen are connected by a new generation MiPort cable, which not only supports ultra-clear video signal transmission but also supports high-power power supply. The new MiPort line contains 30 cables, which can simultaneously meet 18Gbps HD signal transmission and 400W high power supply.
Looking at the core specifications, the Xiaomi Mi Mural TV is equipped with Amlogic quad-core 64-bit flagship processor (1.8Ghz clocked 4 x A53, Mali-T830MP2 GPU 750MHz) coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It also supports 2.4G/5G dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11ac), Low-power Bluetooth 4.2, 3 x HDMI interface and 2 x USB interface.
