Smartphone manufacturers are seriously battling for the crown of the Chinese smartphone market but this is by no means an easy feat for any company. Jingdong is one of the biggest stores in China and most OEMs collaborate with it for sales. Recently, the e-commerce company released its smartphone shopping list for Q1 2019. Its records show that between January and March 2019, Huawei/Honor, Xiaomi and Apple top the list.

As can be seen from the list, whether it is the single product sales or brand sales, the top rankings are Huawei, Apple, Xiaomi, Honor. In the brand sale category, vivo managed to enter the top 5. The Chinese market is very fierce and quality is a key factor for manufacturers to capture the hearts of consumers. The list also shows that Honor 8X is the most demanded device. Starting from 1299 yuan ($193), the Honor 8X has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with 20MP AI dual camera, powerful processor and other performance advantages.

In addition to the excellent performance of Chinese brands, Apple phones are still very popular. In the top 5 product list, Apple has two spots, the iPhone XR seats at second while the iPhone X got the fifth position. Apple’s performance is obviously related to the adjustment of its pricing in the Chinese market.
