New rugged Ulefone Armor 6E will officially launch in May


The rugged Ulefone Armor series is a well known commodity among the sturdy phone lovers and the Armor 6 released at the beginning of the year managed to get a very positive customer response. And seems like the chinese makers are about to release a successor to this model with the new Ulefone Armor 6E. It should be an upgraded version of the phone, but quite surprisingly offering a lower price tag. So what can we expect from this new rugged beast ?

In apperance the Ulefone Armor 6E will have the same exterior and color combination as the Armor 6, but the processor gets upgraded from Helio P60 to the latest Helio P70 and the core clocks are going to go up then from 2 GHz to 2.1 GHz alongside better AI processing capability. And first Antutu tests for Helio P70 are even touching the results of Snapdragon 855 so it really shouldn’t be a slouch. The phone will also get 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage as the solid base for everyday usage.

Ulefone Armor 6E will be carrying Samsung 16MP+2MP dual camera combo, 8MP selfie shooter, 5000 mAh Li-Pol battery supporing the Qi 10W wireless charging, just like the Armor 6. Additionally the 6E will have on board the Android 9 Pie system and with NFC chip you will be able to use the Google Pay payments and similar services.

Online presales for Ulefone Armor 6E will start on May 6th and will offer special price of $199 for the first 3000 units.
