Although Oneplus fans only have to wait for a few more days before they get their first official glimpse of the upcoming flagship device, no many secrets will be left about the upcoming devices, as we have been seeing a steady leak of the device in the past few days. Just a while ago, we got to know the OnePlus 7 Pro will come with 3x Zoom, and now, some more info relating to the upcoming device have surfaced in a rather unusual way.
Ahead of the official May 14 unveiling, the Oneplus 7Pro has surfaced in a newspaper advert somewhere in the US which confirms a few of its basic specs. First spotted by @Dave, Oneplus has taken to a full-page ad in The New York Times to tease some of the features of the Oneplus 7 Pro. As revealed earlier from previous leaks, and as is evident from the sketch accompanying the ad, the Oneplus 7 pro will get a triple-camera setup and a USB-C port. It also points towards a large battery and the lack of a headphone jack, the biggest takeaway, however, is the presence of the pop-out selfie camera which is clearly present.
Gizchina News of the week
In an apparent dig at the latest foldable phones from two industry leaders, the Ad notes that the Oneplus 7 Pro will carry “no $2000 price tag.” which is an indication that the upcoming device will be a lot cheaper than any device in its category. The ad further says the device will be bezel and notch free, with “no bells & whistles” while offering no “app lag” or “bloatware,” “no random music” whatever that means.
Details detail specs and features obviously won’t be revealed until the launch date, but you can catch up with the ever increasing leaks and rumors here.
