ZTE Axon 10 Pro pays a visit to TENAA; Snapdragon 855 and 12GB RAM in tow


ZTE Axon 10 Pro was announced back in February at MWC 2019. However, it is yet to hit the market, and according to recent reports, it will finally be available for purchase in May. The phone has been spotted in the Chinese regulatory agency – TENAA – database and the listing reveal some key details about the flagship.

The Axon 10 Pro (codenamed as ZTE A2020 Pro) boasts a 6.47-inch AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 resolution and it will feature a waterdrop notch at the top of the bezel-less display. The handset will be powered by the almighty Snapdragon 855 and will be available in three RAM variants with 6GB, 8GB, and whooping 12GB of RAM. It will come in 64GB, 128GB, 256GB storages respectively. And for those who love versatility, it will also include a microSD slot for an extra 2TB of storage.

The flagship counts with a triple-camera setup on its rear – a 48MP main sensor + 20MP ultra-wide sensor + 8MP Telephoto camera. At the front, it will feature a 20MP selfie snapper that will be placed inside the already mentioned teardrop notch. The new handset will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner and will be fueled by a 3,900mAh battery with Android 9 Pie straight out the box. The Axon 10 Pro overall dimensions are 159.2 x 73.4 x 7.9 mm in the device weighs just 179 grams.

Interesting enough the ZTE Axon 10 Pro will come with full support for the 5G network. If you’re interested in how this handset, that can be considered ZTE best attempt to reconquer some influence in the market, will perform, after a hurtful 2018, don’t forget to set a reminder for May 6. That’s when the device will finally be available for purchase in China.
