Asus is starting to ramp up its game for the upcoming ZenFone 6, the handset will be officially revealed on May 16 during a special event that will be held in Valencia, Spain.
The company has just published a new teaser with a “defy ordinary” slogan. The teaser easily justifies the outline, after all, we’re looking to what seems to be a smartphone with a notchless almost bezel-free design. That’s something unusual for today’s smartphones, unless that a company opts for a punch-hole approach like Samsung and the S10-series or for a pop-up mechanism like OnePlus.

Gizchina News of the week
Since the last year, the company was playing with a lot of unusual and weird designs, like an unusual right-aligned dot notch to a punch-hole display. In the end, the company could go for a pop-up camera mechanism like the one that will be introduced with the OnePlus 7 Pro. But a recent report of a weird and unusual dual-slider design, teased on early April, could be more close to a “defy ordinary” speech.
Zenfone 6 was previously certified by the FCC with the dual rear camera setup, which 48MP of resolution for the primary sensor. Furthermore, it will boast 18W fast-charging capabilities and Dual-SIM support, in at least one variant of the said device. According to a leaked AnTuTu Benchmark, the device will sport 1080+ resolution, will be powered by the Snapdragon 855 and will rock 6GB of RAM + 128GB of expandable internal storage. Worth noting that it will run Android 9 Pie straight out of the box.
Since the smartphone is just two weeks away from becoming a reality, we can expect more leaks and teasers popping out in the coming days.
