Google’s mid-range Pixel 3 smartphones – the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL appear to have slipped out of the phone maker’s hands a little early than expected all thanks to a few leaks from early this week. Just a few hours after we were treated to a leaked retail packaging of the smaller Google Pixel 3a, a fresh leak has once again given us the first look at the Pixel 3 XL retail box with a few basic specs.
Gizchina News of the week
The leak is courtesy of Android Police reader who shared the leaked retail box with Androidpolice. Well OK, the reader wasn’t exactly in possession of the phone but was spotted on a Best buy retail store locked up in a glass box, though visible enough to catch some details. First off, the retail box confirms the Pixel 3a XL moniker which is tipped to come in both ‘Just Black’ and the same ‘Purple-ish” color we saw with the 3a.
Details on the box suggest the device is destined for Canada and the United state with a 6.0-inch display and 64GB ROM, and while RAM size hasn’t been included, reports say the device will get a Snapdragon 670 CPU and 4GB of RAM. We are not sure if the device is available to buy at the moment, perhaps the retailer wants to attract some attention by displaying the device ahead of its official launch.
