It’s been only a couple of weeks since Lenovo announced the Lenovo Z6 Pro in Beijing, China, and while the device has barely hit the hands of its users, it would appear a fresh smartphone from the brand is right around the corner. We say so because the firm’s (Lenovo) VP, Chang Cheng has dropped a subtle hint on Weibo that suggest its brand would be announcing a new device soon.
Lenovo’s VP, Chang Cheng made the disclosure hours ago when he posted a line of Weibo with the tag “See you on May 22nd.”, and while that would hardly make any meaning, netizens sought to know “if it would make any sense to release a new phone at the moment?”, and the replay was an affirmative one ” Yes, it is necessary to release a new machine. A fan further sought to know if what the firm will announce will be the “Z6 Pro 5G version, and the reply was quite glaring enough to suggest the expected product is a completely new one that has never been released in any market before.
Gizchina News of the week
It is hard to start speculating at the moment, although a new Lenovo phone recently cleared TENAA sporting a triple rear camera setup. That device is speculated to be part of Lenovo’s mid-range K series, but it is yet to be seen if that could be the star of Lenovo’s May 22 event. It has a tall 6.3-inch IPS display with FHD+ resolution, and a waterdrop notch which is home to an 8MP selfie camera. it is listed with an 8 core CPU running at 2.2GHz, and that will be coupled with 3/4/6 GB RAM paired with 32/64/128GB storage, expandable via microSD.
More details obviously would be out in the coming days.
