HMD is rolling out a new update for the Nokia 8.1 in India and Poland, however, its availability should be expanded in the coming days. The update is a small one but includes stability improvements, user interface enhancements and the security patch of April. The latter one is a bit underwhelming since we’re already in May, but it’s better having April than a more outdated version.
The firmware version is v2.59e, it weighs in at 238.3MB and is being seeded in India and Poland. We’re waiting for more reports from the other regions since we believe this update isn’t just limited to these two countries. Either way, the update is expected more Nokia 8.1 around the world in the coming hours and days.
