Redmi’s flagship will come with an ID sensor below the display and excellent battery

Redmi's flagship

It should not be long before the presentation of the Redmi K20 Pro or P20 Pro or X20 Pro, assuming that this could be the name of Redmi’s flagship with Snapdragon 855 which we have been talking about for several weeks now.

Today, Lu Weibing, General Manager of Redmi, through the Chinese social network Weibo confirms the presence of the fingerprint reader on the Redmi K20 Pro screen showing the unlocking screen of the smartphone.

In his post, Weibing also claims to be very pleased with the performance of the battery, which far exceeded his expectations. Recall that the rumors circulated so far speak of a 4,000 mAh battery, which combined with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform should effectively ensure a very high autonomy on Redmi’s flagship.

The presence of a retractable front camera still remains to be clarified, which would allow for a high screen-to-body ratio without using notches or holes in the display. The official announcement is expected on 13 or 20 May, but so far Redmi, which since January has been operating independently of Xiaomi, has not released any official information on the matter.

Moreover, it seems that another product is also coming, the company is also going to launch “one more thing” but what would that be is unknown at this time. It’s likely that the device could be an IoT-powered smart home device. Obviously, everything is to be taken with due precautions at least until an official confirmation by Redmi and Xiaomi.
