Redmi Snapdragon 855 smartphone may have Android Q beta support out-of-the-box


At the Google I/O conference of May 8, Google released the new generation Android Q system. At the meeting, Google announced the first batch of 21 upgradeable Android Q system phones, including: ASUS Zenfone 5z, Essential Phone, Huawei Mate 20 Pro, LG G8 ThinQ, Nokia 8.1, OnePlus 6T, OPPO Reno, Realme 3 Pro, Sony Xperia XZ3, Tecno Spark 3 Pro, vivo X27, vivo NEX S, vivo NEX A, Xiaomi Mi 9, Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 5G, Pixel 3, Pixel 3XL, Pixel 2, Pixel 2XL, Pixel, Pixel XL, etc. Now, there are speculations that the Redmi Snapdragon 855 smartphone will get Android Q update when it arrives.

Today, Xiaomi President Lin Bin revealed on Weibo that Xiaomi Mi 9 and Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 5G can already use the Android Q Beta version. He said “You can download the beta and try it but I heard that the flagship of friends is also very powerful. When you come up, there will be an Android Q Beta Brush Pack. Everyone is looking for Liu Weibing to verify.”

His statement suggests that when the Redmi Snapdragon 855 smartphone arrives, there will be an Android Q Beta Brush Pack waiting. This means that users of this smartphone may decide to download the Android Q update. Currently in the Xiaomi MIUI International Forum has provided the Android Q Brush Pack for Xiaomi Mi 9 and Xiaomi Mi MIX3 5G version.
