Finally, some concrete information regarding the Redmi K20 Pro (popularly known as Redmi’s flagship or Redmi Snapdragon 855 phone) has started hitting the web. Recently, the company officially revealed the name of this smartphone and now, the first official camera sample of this phone appeared online. Today, Sun Changxu, a partner of Xiaomi Industry Investment Department, released an image on Weibo which comes with the watermark “Redmi K20 Pro..AI Triple Camera” which confirms that the k20 Pro comes with a triple camera configuration.

There have been some wide speculations that this smartphone could be the Poco F2 but this current image shows that there is a Redmi K20 Pro indeed and upcoming K20 series includes two models, Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro. Of these, the K20 Pro will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 flagship platform but it will not be easy to use this chip on both smartphones.

It is reported that the Pro model uses a 6.39 inches full-screen display without a notch and will sport a pop-up camera. This will be the first Redmi phone to use this camera design. On the rear, it will have a triple camera setup like the image confirms but we only know that one of these cameras will be a 48MP super wide-angle Sony camera.  The lights will be kept on by a 4000 mAh battery and it supports an on-screen fingerprint sensor.

He said in his latest tweet, “Congratulations team! There’s a new flagship in town. Flagship Killer 2.0: coming soon.. Hold my dragon!” This implies that the launch of this smartphone is imminent.
