Realme X, Oppo’s Sub-Brand first phone launched outside of India won’t remain exclusive to China after all. The device already bagged the BIS approval in India suggesting it could launch in the country, and that was further confirmed a few days ago by Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth on Twitter, though with no specific launch date yet.
Again, the CEO, Madhav Sheth has today re-echoed the Indian launch, and while that isn’t the real news, the CEO confirmed that the Realme X will come to India slightly modified, meaning the Chinese version of the device could be slightly different from the version that will sell in Indian, and, perhaps other markets outside of China.
Providing some more details, revealed that the RealmeX Indian version will sell around the INR 18,000 (~$255) price tag which is about the price of the 8GB+128GB Chinese version. He also hinted that the device will get a third special edition variant in addition to the Garlic and Onion special variants announced for China.
