In case you missed it, Huawei – a major Chinese telecom and smartphone maker has been embroiled in a pretty messy situation since a couple of days now. The Trump administration has placed it on the so-called entity list which blacklists and thereby prohibits US firms from dealing with the Chinese firm.
Huawei’s USA partners are already making moves to comply with the order by halting or severing their dealings with the Chinese firm. Google was first to withdraw its services and has since been followed by a number of Huawei partners outside and inside the States. The multiplier effect could be devastating on the firm and could mark the beginning of its end unless more appropriate and drastic measures are taken to address the impasse between Beijing and Washinton.
While millions of Huawei smartphones users are worried about what becomes of their Huawei phones, LG mobile feels it the best time to poke fun at Huawei. Trolling a rival brand in the course of promoting upcoming smartphones aren’t new in the industry, but it is rather worrisome making fun out of a situation that the victim has repeatedly denied allegations levied against it.
