Today, Lu Weibing, the general manager of Redmi, announced on Weibo that the Redmi K20 series will be equipped with NFC function. Lu Weibing said that the Redmi K20 is equipped with the same NFC chip as the iPhone XS: “K20 is the first Redmi mobile phone equipped with NFC. We feel that it is best to use it…it uses the same NXP latest generation SN100 series chip as the iPhone XS and the transaction speed is 30% higher than the previous generation.”
As one of the pioneers in the application of NFC feature in China, Xiaomi NFC is very rich in functions. It supports 200 city bus cards, simulation of unencrypted access cards, Xiaomi payment, NFC door lock, and other features. In addition, it is compatible with many third-party APP used as bus card/campus card/gas card recharge, liquor anti-counterfeiting query, etc. As for the Xiaomi users who have already opened the bus card, Lu Weibing also reminded them that they don’t have to worry about the balance. At present, Xiaomi has added support for 11-city bus card transfer card. After logging in the same Xiaomi ID on the new phone, the bus card information can be imported.
