Yesterday, Xiaomi’s independent sub-brand Redmi officially released its first flagship machine – the Redmi K20 / K20 Pro. Of course, these two smartphones are expected to land in the European market as well. Today, it became known these handsets will go to Russia with the product names of Xiaomi Mi 9T and Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro.
In fact, previously, the product name of Xiaomi Mi 9T was certified in Thailand. At that time, many were thinking this could be a new phone. But a couple of days ago, we learned the Redmi K20 and its sibling are going to be launched in Poland as the Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro. It turns out, at this moment, at least, three countries will get the K20 series handsets under the Xiaomi brand.
The Redmi K20 has two versions. The original variant is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor, a 4000mAh capacity battery, supporting 18W fast charge, 6.39-inch ultra-wide screen with the 7th-gen screen fingerprint technology, NFC, and Hi-Res Audio support.

The Redmi K20 Pro is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. One of the most attractive features of the K20 Pro is the Game Turbo 2.0 support.
On the back, the K20 series handsets are packed with a triple camera, which includes the Sony’s 48MP CMOS (1/2″ sensor, 1.6um four-in-one pixel, 6P lens, f / 1.75 aperture), an 8MP lens (1/4″ sensor, 1.12um, 5P lens, f/2.4 aperture), and a 13MP anti-distortion super wide-angle sensor (1/3″ sensor, 1.12um, 5P lens, f / 2.4 aperture, 124.8 degrees super wide angle). To ensure a genuine full screen, the Redmi K20 Pro uses a pop-up camera design, which has a resolution of 20MP that lifts in 0.8 seconds. The latter supports large wide-angle panoramic photo mode, super night scene, 960 frames slow motion, and other functions.
In terms of pricing, the Xiaomi Mi 9T will be almost identical to the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, while the pricing of the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro will be closer to the Xiaomi Mi 9. In the Russian market, the Mi 9T Pro is priced at about 35,000 rubles ($540), and the price of the Mi 9T is about 25,000 rubles ($386).
